Most of the characters I bring to life in VO have grown up with me and I with them. Whether it's the wonderfully easy-going Australians I met while living Down Under as a child, the loveable rogues and sleazy gangsters from films and video games I obsessed over as a teenager, or the bombastic Glaswegian uncle who I still struggle to understand as an adult, these incredible people continue to inspire the energy and spirit I breathe into every character role I undertake.
As President of my college’s Dramatics Society at the University of Cambridge, my stage roles ranged from characters in Shakespeare productions to parts in comedy shows with the Footlights Company. I also experienced the thrill of character acting through voice over in Cambridge University radio shows and YouTube projects. From my training with the Global Voice Acting Academy (GVAA) my understanding and control over the tricks of the trade continue to grow and support my natural versatility for character accents and archetypes.
